Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our customers. Your passion for coffee and exceptional customer service skills will contribute to creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere in our café.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, espresso, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate various equipment such as coffee machines, blenders, and grinders
- Ensure the quality and consistency of beverages by following recipes and standards
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Handle cash transactions using a cash register or POS system
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the freshness and safety of food products
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or the coffee industry is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and different coffee blends
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
